Pub was clean. There was a decent range of beers on offer, including some in handpump. I had a pint of Tribute from the St. Austell brewery in Cornwall, and it was a decent drop, well kept.

I ordered a hot corned beef, cheese and onion sandwich, which was very tasty, although, I would have liked it to be a little bigger, but then I was probably too hungry for just a sandwich.

Very rude and arrogant landlady. Made sarcastic jokes about our IDs from other country and kicked us from the pub because one of our friends wasn't feeling like drinking. She used the staff three times as a proxy to say that everybody should have a drink with no exceptions on "all Britishs pubs". As we didn't know that.

Bad service, tasteless burger, we were forced to consume to stay in place!  The owner of the establishment was super arrogant!

Rude landlady. Can understand that a young family's crying baby can be off-putting to other customers, but there are much more tactful and customer friendly ways to deal with such situations than kicking them out with no refund, using the waitress as proxy.

Even though it have a very modern look and feel, this is certainly a boy pub, bordering on the old man pub. It feels like it's have been done up to be all metro-sexual but the previous crowd didn't move out. More of a lager pub than a real ale pub (though there are 3 pumps offering ale). Sport is shown. It's a little strange seeing football on a big TV placed on a florally decorated wall.

Not too sure what this place is trying to be.
